ABOUT US
Scuba Libre Dive Shop has been operating in Playa del Carmen since 1988. Our Dive Masters and Instructors are very familiar with all the reef, ocean and cenote dive sites in both Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, and very experienced in training and guiding divers and non-divers under the water.

Playa, as the locals call it, is located in the heart of the "Mayan Riviera," and is the ideal place for any vacation....welcome to Playa. The unique geology of the Yucatan ensures a world class scuba diving/ snorkeling experience.
Dive Training

Scuba Libre has been running PADI certification programs since its beginning. Our variety of courses appeals to divers of all levels, and are personalized to each client within the PADI guidelines. Naturally, we are happy to do referral training.
Dive Playa

The type of dive along Playa del Carmen is a drift dive which allows divers to admire the beautiful flora and fauna on our superb reefs in a very effortless and relaxing way because you simply glide with the current and feel the rush of flying under the water.
Dive Cenotes
DIVE CENOTES
Most cenotes have an outstanding visibility (up to 100m/300ft), and water temperature of is around 26ºC/78ºF but it can vary depending on weather of our caves, caverns, underground lakes and cenotes are extraordinary stalactites, stalagmites and exotic rock formations that can easily make you think that you are somewhere in outer space.
