Discover
Scuba Diving
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill
of diving under the supervision of a scuba dive instructor in a
pool or pool-like conditions, such as those found at a resort. During
your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills
and might even head off on an open water adventure. Your instructor
will give you some theory and practice in the swimming pool related
to the basics of scuba diving, after this training we will go for
a shallow ocean dive (10m/30ft). The Discover program allows you
to dive for fourteen days in shallow waters (no deeper than 12m/36ft)
and always under the supervision of an instructor.
Minimum age to enroll in this course is 10 years old.

Open
Water Diver
As a certified Open Water Diver, you have the freedom to dive with
a buddy independent of a professional. If you already took the Discover
Scuba Diving course check with your instructor to see how credit
from that course may apply to the open water program. Virtually
anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in
the water can earn an Open Water Diver certification. If you are
between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a
Junior Open Water Diver program available. Throughout the course,
you'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment
and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives
and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water
(ocean) dives. Normally this course takes four days but our programs
are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of
the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable
for you. This certification is valid worldwide and has no expiration
date.
