Discover Scuba Diving
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a scuba dive instructor in a pool or pool-like conditions, such as those found at a resort. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off on an open water adventure. Your instructor will give you some theory and practice in the swimming pool related to the basics of scuba diving, after this training we will go for a shallow ocean dive (10m/30ft). The Discover program allows you to dive for fourteen days in shallow waters (no deeper than 12m/36ft) and always under the supervision of an instructor.

Minimum age to enroll in this course is 10 years old.

Open Water Diver
As a certified Open Water Diver, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already took the Discover Scuba Diving course check with your instructor to see how credit from that course may apply to the open water program. Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn an Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a Junior Open Water Diver program available. Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean) dives. Normally this course takes four days but our programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. This certification is valid worldwide and has no expiration date.

Advanced Open Water Diver
This course is fun. The scuba dive course is just a practical course, which means you will be diving during three days, getting knowledge and practice of five specialties. There are two core specialties for this course: deep diver and naturalist diver. According with your preferences and our chances to develop a certain specialty (due to the geographic location), you will pick three more specialties from the following list:

· BOAT DIVER
· DRIFT DIVER
· MULTILEVEL DIVER
· NIGHT DIVER
· PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY
· SEARCH AND RECOVERY
· UNDERWATER NATURALIST
· WRECK DIVER

At the beginning of the course we will give you the manual for the Advanced course and you will carefully read the chapters related to the five specialties you will practice with us (that you have agreed on with your instructor) and before each dive, your instructor will give you a special briefing for you to understand what you are going to do and/or how you are going to feel as you dive.

Dive Master
Take the first step in your dive career and become a Dive Master. Working closely with your Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. The Dive Master training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Scuba Libre offers an important additional training with this course, which takes Dive Master certification to a higher level: we give you the chance to learn in the field the daily operation of a dive center. This means that in addition to all of the important knowledge and theory that you are going to learn from your instructor, manuals and diving encyclopedia, you will also gain the experience of being involved in a real daily operation. This will include participating in open water courses assisting your instructor, practicing with your instructor on how to lead people under the water, how to give the briefing to a group of divers, helping to coordinate the operation and much more.
